I just saw on the news that it's expected that in the year 2009 over 443,000 Americans will die from smoking related causes.
I gotta ask...why?
It's so beyond my ken why anyone born after 1970 or so would even start smoking.
There are easier, faster, less expensive and less painful ways to kill oneself.

I hate it, except when I am doing it, which is not at all now.
You know what's really weird? I stopped smoking before I had the first rugrat, and never even allowed cigarettes in the house due to allergies (which have become so bad that I can't even stand next to a smoker on the subway because I can smell it in their clothes and hair). But both my kids started smoking in high school. Sheesh.
